Arrange audit services
Audit services are mainly divided into statutory audit and illegal audit (special review).
Statutory audit
According to Article 122 of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, Hong Kong Limited’s annual financial statements must be audited by a certified public accountant in Hong Kong so that the company’s shareholders can be viewed at the annual general meeting. In addition, the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department also requires limited companies to attach audited financial statements for tax assessment purposes when submitting profits tax returns.
Statutory audits are conducted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong and the auditing standards issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In the audit process, experienced accountants can understand the client’s industry characteristics, the company’s operating mode, management structure, potential problems and risk management, etc., so as to discover potential management and operational problems and provide professional solutions for clients.
In the audit report, the accountant expresses professional opinions on the authenticity and fairness of the client’s financial statements, and directs the company’s directors to comply with the relevant regulations and perform their due responsibilities.
Non-statutory audit (special review)
